In anticipation of a redesign for our messaging app I put together this prototype.

Simple email interface with some usual stuff missing as this is not a true email app but a secure messaging app in a closed system.

I was given a not so subtle hint that the new Google email theme was “sexy”. I used this as inspiration.

What is presented here is my first pass at the “inbox” screen. One idea I have had for a long time when asked to think about this project is a preview mode. Since this is a closed system I feel like we have more control over the data that is sent back and forth and feel like this could be a nice touch t the traditional inbox you and I have know forever.

There are a few bugs, mostly with the jQuery as I am learning as I go, but for a first pass at a prototype I feel I get the idea across pretty well.
