Update

Site Has Launched!

Yeah! First site on our new platform has been pushed out.

Quite a bit has changed since the first spec. The secondary pages were brough straight over from their old site and modified just enought to fit in the new template. Unfortunitly this means almost all of the legacy markup couldn’t be fixed/updated. Such is life.

Client is really happy and we are testing and working out bugs of the new platform.

As new as it is, this is only phase one. This platform is a way point for the newer platform which will be launched in the coming weeks. Once it launches, this and a few other clients will be moved to that platform.

Our client Boston Medical Center has been with is for about 6 years. We approached them about a month ago to see what they thought about a redesign. We wanted to make sure their site was one that kept up with recent design and technology trends and they agreed that a refresh was in order.

My goal was to try and squeeze the large amount of content they wanted to feature on their homepage into an easy to digest presentation. I had received orders from above not to redesign the secondary and tertiary pages but to come up with a design where those pages would fit.
